I was inside my home folding laundry when there was a knock at the door. I opened it to find my sister outside. She came inside with a suitcase and brought it upstairs. When I turned back around, the layout of the house was different, and things were a lot messier than I remembered. I turned back around again to find the front step had been expanded to include a ramp, and someone I met in university was in a wheelchair climbing up it. My sister comes out and helps him in, and I think to myself that it's strange how much has changed. I didn't realize my sister had a new boyfriend, let alone one in a wheelchair given shes been with her current one for 9 years now. I head back to do Laundry, thinking about what may have happened, and I get berated by other people in the house asking why I left the laundry. I was still sorting when the woman said she had already done the sorting, and the stuff I was folding was dirty. I knew better though, and kept on going. After things were sorted and neatly piled, i went to the kitchen to also find it in shambles, and more people I didn't recognize in there. I kept cleaning and visiting other rooms, taking care of the chores. As I did, people left, until there was just me, sitting inside a clean house.
